Dr. Jiří Wackermann

Jiří Wackermann, born 1955 in Roudnice n.L. (Czechoslovakia), studied psychology at Charles University in Prague, and graduated with Dr. phil. in 1985. He was in active in neurophysiological and psychophysiological research at various institutes in Prague (Czechoslovakia) and Zurich (Switzerland). In 1992 he founded Neuroscience Technology Research Ltd., a company specialized in software development for clinical and experimental neurophysiology, which he directed for six years. Since 1998 he is at the Institute for Frontier Areas of Psychology and Mental Health (IGPP) as head of the department for Empirical and Analytical Psychophysics and member of the IGPP Management Board.
