Dr. Peter Pütz
Education
Peter Pütz, born 27. November 1963 in Wipperfürth, studied psychology at the Philipps-University in Marburg. In 1993 he received a diploma for a thesis about event-related brain potentials and in 2003 he graduated with a Dr.phil. thesis about the development of human napping behavior in the second and third life decade.
Professional Career
Peter Pütz began his professional career as a research scientist in a project of the DFG at the Philipps-University Marburg in 1993. From 1994 to 1997 he was a research scientist in a project of the Swiss Nationalfond and since 1994 he worked as an assistant at the University of Zurich, Department of Clinical Psychology. From 1997 until 1999 he was working at the Sleep Disorders Center at the University of Zurich. He also gave seminars at the University of Zurich. Since September 1999 he is with the department of Empirical and Analytical Psychophysics at the IGPP.
