Ina Schmied-Knittel, born in 1967, studied social work in Potsdam (in the former G.D.R.) and from 1990-1996 sociology and politics at the University of Konstanz (M.A.); Doctorate finshed with the title of Dr. phil. (University of Freiburg); since 1998 at the IGPP
