The research activities of the department are primarily organized along the lines of different research projects. Besides large-scale projects less extensive pilot-studies are conducted to evaluate the fruitfullness of research questions and the methodical feasability of project ideas.
At present the department carries out the following more extensive empirical research projects:
- Extraordinary Experiences of Children - Developmental-, Social-Psychological, and Sociological Aspects
- The Integration of Interpretation Pattern and Discourse Analysis in the Study of Heterodox Knowledge
Within the context of our research activities we also supervise and support Masters / Diploma theses and PhD theses.
The ongoing research projects will be supplemented by ad-hoc research groups concerned with the documentation and analysis of current events and public discourses in the area of exceptional experiences and anomalistic phenomena. For notifications about any such occurences and experiences we would be very grateful.
