Shielded rooms: Two electromagnetically shielded, sound-isolated and spatially separated cabins. Control units comprise presentation and recording computers and video cameras.

Experimental control: Experimental control and stimulus presentation are mostly done by LabVIEW programs.

EEG units: Two units with 64-channel EEG amplifiers SynAmps by Neuroscan; Easy Caps by Falk Minow with ring electrodes. Recording with Acquire by Neuroscan; data processing with Vision Analyzer by Brain Products and with own software.

Multi-channel registration unit (polygraph): For the measurement of skin conductance, ECG, thoracic and abdominal respiration, and finger pulse, an A/D converter and data logger by J&J Engineering is applied. Recording and data processing is done by own software (LabVIEW, Matlab).
