Library and Archives of IGPP
Overview
The Department of Library and Archives at IGPP provides information services for the general public as well as researchers studying the history of parapsychology and border areas of psychology. It houses a specialized library and archives dealing with the history of IGPP and the general history of occultism and parapsychology in Germany including the personal papers of prominent German psi researchers. Among the current tasks of the IGPP archives are the registration and preservation of existing materials and the preparation of detailed inventories which is a prerequisite for scholarly work on the history of parapsychology in Germany.

Library
The specialized library "Parapsychology and Border Areas of Parapsychology" is supervised by the IGPP in collaboration with University of Freiburg Library. The main holdings are available on application at the University of Freiburg Library; a reference section is open for general use at the IGPP main building (Wilhelmstraße 3a) and its hours of operation are 8:30-11:30 and 12:30-16:00 Monday to Tuesday and Thursday to Friday (closed on holidays).
Other activities
In addition the department edits the "Zeitschrift für Parapsychologie und Grenzgebiete der Psychologie" in collaboration with Walter v. Lucadou ( Parapsychologische Beratungsstelle Freiburg) and carries on an active collaboration with the Help and Counseling for People with Unusual Experiences Project.You may find more information on our German page.
