Travel
Ringberg Castle can be reached by car. The distance from Munich is approximately 60 km. Shortly after passing the community of Rottach-Egern and its most southern part, Reitrain, leave the main road (# 307) to your right and follow the road to the village of Scharling. After about 50 m, a sign "Schloß Ringberg", again pointing to the right, indicates the direction to the castle (2 km on an unpaved, third-class road).
If you prefer traveling by train, there is a rail connection from Munich HBF (main station) to Tegernsee. The travel time is approximately one hour. If you let us know your arrival time at Tegernsee we can take care that you will be picked up. The distance from Tegernsee to Ringberg Castle is 7 km. For additional information (e.g. maps) please check the travel page of Ringberg Castle.
Those of you who wish to stay in Munich before or after the workshop can find a comprehensive list of hotels in Munich on the web.
Since Sunday, June 3, is a special holiday in Germany, check-in will not begin earlier than 4 pm.
